Dodgers add Seth Halvorsen as trade deadline intel starts to flow

The Dodgers just added another arm to their rotation. Los Angeles acquired right-hander Seth Halvorsen from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for right-hander Nick Frasso and outfielder Landyn Vidourek, a deal that became official on July 20.
Halvorsen joins a Dodgers club that sits at 64-38, the best record in the National League, with a run differential of +153. The Rockies, meanwhile, are 41-62 with a minus-93 run differential, firmly in sell mode. The long board rewards patience for contenders like the Dodgers, who can now deepen their pitching staff without sacrificing a major piece from their current roster. Frasso and Vidourek are prospects, not established contributors, so this is a low-cost addition for a team that already leads the NL West by 11.5 games.
