NFL Week 6 Player Props: 4 Picks for Sunday, Oct. 18

I'm keeping things simple on today's 12-game slate and betting on good players in good spots. All four of these guys have been producing this season, and all four are facing defenses that give up a ton of yards to their position. Sometimes the best bets are the obvious ones.

Tre Tucker, Raiders vs. Bills

Pick: Tre Tucker Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-109 at DraftKings)

Tre Tucker has been a reliable source of yards for the Raiders this season, averaging 54.8 receiving yards per game. He's cleared this number in four of his five games, so he's been living right around this number all year.

Now he gets a Bills defense that is getting torched by wide receivers, allowing 187.4 yards per game to the position, the most in the league. With the Raiders implied to score around 24.5 points, they'll have to throw it, and Tucker has seen at least four targets in every game. The only real concern is whether the Raiders can keep it close enough to stick with their game plan, but even in a blowout, they'd be forced to pass.

Tetairoa McMillan, Panthers vs. Eagles

Pick: Tetairoa McMillan Over 64.5 Receiving Yards (-110 at DraftKings)

Tetairoa McMillan has been a monster for the Panthers this season, averaging 96.3 receiving yards per game.

He gets an Eagles pass defense that's been generous to opposing wideouts, allowing the fifth-most yards per game to the position. McMillan is clearly the top option in Carolina's passing game, and his volume gives him a high floor every single week. The one thing that gives me pause is that he has a 17-yard game on his ledger this season, so the floor can bottom out, but I'm betting on the target share being too much for the Eagles to handle.

Cam Skattebo, Giants vs. Saints

Pick: Cam Skattebo Over 49.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at BetMGM)

The Saints have been a welcome sight for opposing running backs all season, giving up a league-worst 133.4 yards per game to the position. They're also allowing 4.8 yards per carry, so they're getting gashed both by volume and by efficiency.

That's great news for Cam Skattebo, who has been a workhorse for the Giants. The only real risk is the game script. If the Saints get out to a big lead, the Giants might have to abandon the run, but Skattebo has been productive enough that he could still get there on limited touches.

Zay Flowers, Ravens vs. Browns

Pick: Zay Flowers Over 57.5 Receiving Yards (-113 at BetRivers)

Zay Flowers averaged 71.2 receiving yards per game last season, and he's taken another leap forward this year. He's the clear number one option in Baltimore's passing attack.

The Browns have a solid pass defense, but they're still allowing the 10th-most yards to opposing wide receivers. Flowers has seen at least six targets in every game this season, with 10 and nine over his last two. The biggest concern here is the Browns' ability to limit big plays, as they're allowing just 5.8 yards per attempt, but Flowers' volume and big-play ability make him a good bet to get over this number.

  • Tetairoa McMillan OVER 64.5 Receiving Yards: -110
